Important results from the project

** Denna text är maskinöversatt ** To, while maintaining productivity and customer acceptance, create three fossil and emission-free system solution demonstrations for medium-sized work machines in material handling. The demonstrations with energy storage solutions in different applications with different power grid conditions and with different machines have been carried out according to plan and the parties have gained valuable knowledge from operators and site personnel.

Expected long term effects

All the system demonstrations in the project clearly show that maintained productivity and customer acceptance can be achieved with a system solution for medium-sized emission-free work machines. However, an emission-free solution requires more careful planning than some fossil fueled ones in order to e.g. achieve a stable energy supply. Overall, the parties have built very valuable knowledge in many areas connected to the electrification of the material handling industry, with an overall objective to take a big step towards commercial solutions that can accelerate transition.

Approach and implementation

** Denna text är maskinöversatt ** The project has been executed agilely with regular project meetings. The actors have worked together to conduct on-site demonstrations and thus drive development at both higher and lower TRL levels. The work was divided into eleven work packages linked to demonstrations at three locations in different applications. Both the plan and results have been successful.

The project description has been provided by the project members themselves and the text has not been looked at by our editors.
