Horizon Europe: How to do it? The practicalities of an application

Digitally Tue 8 Oct 2024 at 10:00-12:00

There is a lot to think about when planning to apply for funding within Horizon Europe. We will cover some important parts of the application process in more detail. The meeting is primarily for those who intend to apply for funding from Horizon Europe for the first time, but even if you have applied before, you can get practical tips.

This web page has been machine translated. If there are any uncertainties, please refer to the Swedish text.

We will go through how to find out information regarding eligibility requirements, expectations, best practice and consortium formation, and how to think about good accounting from the Commission's point of view. We will go through the various parts of an application, explain the Commission's expression and highlight practical aspects of an application.

We will not go through which calls for proposals are available to apply for right now, details in budgeting or how to fill out an application in the portal, although some things we will cover relate to that.

A full agenda will be published on this site closer to the meeting.

You don't need to have applied for funding from Horizon Europe before to be able to follow the meeting, but it helps if you are familiar with Horizon Europe's pillar structure. The meeting highlights in particular the cluster calls under Pillar II, Global Challenges and European Industrial Competitiveness. A short summary can be found on Vinnova's website "Seek funding from Horizon Europe", see link below.

The meeting is digital and will be held in Swedish. Please note that there is a limited number of places at the meeting, maximum 300 participants. If the meeting is fully booked, a waiting list will be drawn up.

The meeting will not be recorded.

Sometimes we photograph or video record our activities. If you don't want to participate in photos or videos, please let us when you arrive.
