Sustainable production - FFI - June 2020

With this the offer we want to support the project that helps produce vehicles, drivelines and components in a sustainable process. The aim of the initiative is to contribute to new innovations and research results that enable the production of new vehicle solutions with minimal environmental impact. The offer is part of the Vehicle Strategic Program research and innovation (FFI).

What can you apply for?

Preliminary studies and full-scale project regarding research and development activities for the production of road vehicles, drivelines and vehicle components.

Who can apply?

Research organizations, companies, public and non-profit organizations.

How much can you apply for?

The maximum amount for feasibility studies is SEK 500,000. For full-scale project, there is no upper limit, but the guideline is a maximum of 50 percent of the total project budget. Every single project needs at least 25 percent co-financing from the business community. Funding is granted for a maximum of 4 years.

  • How to apply

    To apply for funding, you need to log in and complete an application form in our eServices portal. The application form contains questions about your project, the participants taking part in the project and your budget. 

    What happens after the call has closed?

    Once your application has been registered, we'll send a confirmation email to the person responsible for the user account, as well as to the project manager and the company signer. Please note that this may take a few hours after the call has closed.

    After the closing date, you can't register any new information. You may only add information to your application if we ask for it.

    Who can read your application?

    Applications submitted to us become official documents. However, we don't disclose information about business operations, inventions or research results if it can be assumed that someone will suffer economic damage if we do.

    This means that we must disclose the documents if someone requests them. However, we can black out information if we believe it could cause economic harm if disclosed.
