Viktiga resultat som projektet gav
The goal of the project was to clinically validate the application of Low Intensity Vibration therapy in treatment of diabetic foot ulcers. Due to the COVID situation the project was significantly delayed (as the patient target group of the clinical study are in a high risk of severe COVID) and though the clinical study is about to start the results of the study will be available in Q3.2022
Långsiktiga effekter som förväntas
Despite the delays due to COVID situation the study documentation was prepared and agreed upon with the researcher and the clinical study is about to start.
Upplägg och genomförande
Besides the delay the project was implemented as planned. Study documentation was prepared and clinical researcher was engaged in the project, but due to COVID situation the study could start before the restrictions were finally lifted in autumn.
