Uppföljning och analys av tio spetsanvändarprojekt

Viktiga resultat som projektet gav

Vinnova has commissioned a follow-up and evaluation of ten lead user method projects with the following effects and result targets for the projects: Effects encourage more Swedish organizations to test open innovation processes create a better understanding of the importance of the lead users as sources of innovation Results learning about practical ways of working with open innovation and lead users concrete prototypes / innovations and examples of Swedish projects with lead users developed and tested methods in the field that can be disseminated and used by others.

Långsiktiga effekter som förväntas

In summary the following effects and results have been achieved in the ten projects: The ten projects have involved some thirty Swedish companies and organizations. All in all some 350 persons have been involved in the projects Most projects, seven projects, have identified lead users Six projects have come up with concrete concepts/innovations Three companies have made some modifications to their innovation processes All innovation intermediaries, except one, have intentions to disseminate lead user method or modifications of this in the market in future projects.

Upplägg och genomförande

The study will make use of the information reported in the project documentation (proposals, progress reports, final reports) to conduct evaluation and analysis. In addition, supplementary telephone interviews with project leaders have been done in all ten projects.
