Viktiga resultat som projektet gav

The main goal of this project was to understand and define requirements for an IoT test and development methodology that would allow for robust and cost-efficient IoT development. Furthermore, we wanted to get an idea about the test methods and tools that are of interest for the potential partners of the next phase. We made a lot of progress in the said areas and would have managed to put together a good proposal. Nevertheless, we think that we can get an even stronger consortium and proposal for Phase B when we submit in January 2018 and hence decided to delay the submission of the Phase B.

Långsiktiga effekter som förväntas

The result of this project is that we have a good understanding about the requirements for an IoT test and development methodology that would allow for robust and cost-efficient IoT development. Furthermore, we understand the test methods and tools that are of interest for the potential partners of the next phase. We have interested parties for a strong consortium for a submission of the UDI-B proposal in January 2018.

Upplägg och genomförande

We had a mixture of internal and external meetings that allowed us to understand the industrial partners’ needs and requirements for the next phase. The timing, however, where we needed the final commitments of partners before the summer was unfortunate and we think we can do a much better job and get a much stronger proposal by delaying the submission of the UDI-B proposal to January 2018.
