Viktiga resultat som projektet gav

The main objective was to start a collaboration between Dr. Enrichi and two Swedish Universities: the Luleå University of Technology (LTU) and the Chalmers University of Technology (CTH), with the possibility to connect them to the Italian Ca´ Foscari University of Venice (UNIVE). The interest in collaborating clearly emerged. A Vinnmer Marie Curie Incoming Project proposal was submitted, which would allow a strong interaction on the field of renewable energies. Moreover, during the visit, some experimental preliminary tests on selected materials were also done, as planned.

Långsiktiga effekter som förväntas

The most relevant outcomes are described hereafter (i), (ii), (iii). (i) Preliminary tests on some selected materials were done, suggesting new experiments. (ii) Dr. Enrichi met the Swedish colleagues at LTU and CTH. The interest in collaborating clearly emerged. (iii) The competences of LTU, CTH and UNIVE and the expertise of Dr. Enrichi were seen as perfectly complementary and provide a solid ground for a successful research activity and for a strong and long lasting collaboration on renewable energies. The complete Vinnmer Marie Curie Incoming Project proposal was submitted.

Upplägg och genomförande

Dr. Enrichi spent one week in LTU and a couple of days in CTH. During his stay he gave an invited seminar in LTU to Prof. Vomiero and his colleagues and the same was presented in CTH in a meeting with Prof. Karlsson and his collaborators. He presented himself and his scientific background and the interest in collaborating in the field of renewable energies clearly emerged. Moreover, the visit was planned also to do some preliminary tests on selected materials with the aim of giving the operative start to the scientific collaboration. The overall strategy was successful.
