Viktiga resultat som projektet gav
The HARMONISE studies have aimed toward both theoretical insight and experimental results. On the theoretical side, the topic of embodied cognition and its design implications for vehicle automation have been investigated, and State-of-the-Art in the market regarding vehicle automation has been described. On the experimental side, a total of five studies have been carried out. Overall, we believe HARMONISE largely has fulfilled its initial objectives. Some studies did not end up with the expected conclusions, but that is a natural hazard in science to be embraced and learned from.

Upplägg och genomförande
Most of the HARMONISE work followed the initial workplan. One of the work packages had to alter direction halfway, when a change in function implementation rendered the old research question for that work package invalid, but it was possible to generate a new research question in the same spirit which still lead to HARMONISE relevant results.
