Viktiga resultat som projektet gav

The purpose of the pre-study was to conduct a feasibility study on the establishment of the Swedish national cybersecurity node, which was successfully conducted with a great support from industry, academia and public sector.

Långsiktiga effekter som förväntas

This pre-study received an eager response from the stakeholders and identifies, among others, 1) the absence of national coordination platform for the industry facing cybersecurity challenges that can provide them a single point of contact; 2) missing support for the SMEs to deal with evolving cyber risks due to lack of any shared pool of available expertise; 3) lack of innovation and knowledge dissemination platform; and 4) the absence of a platform disseminating and highlighting the available research and innovation funding opportunities at the national and international level.

Upplägg och genomförande

An aim of this study was to address coordination gap between all relevant stakeholder which today mostly work on isolated and redundant cybersecurity efforts by them. The implementation methodology followed the following steps. - Series of Meetings with Stakeholders - Interfacing to the Defense Authorities - Study of Existing Setups - Identifying Core Areas - Workshops with Key Players - Identification of Core Team Members - Formulation of Governing Body - Determine Funding Model
