FFI, Automotive Strategic research and Innovation, is a long-term collaboration between the government and the automotive industry. Here you can read FFI's annual report and examples of results of the program's efforts for sustainable and competitive road transport.

FFI has funded research and innovation for the transition of road transport to a sustainable society since 2009. Each year, the state and the automotive industry together contribute approximately one billion SEK to funding via FFI.

In 2024, FFI has financed 106 project with a total budget of almost one billion SEK: 484 million from the state and 512 million in co-financing from industry, among others.

In the annual report for 2024, information on the number project and target groups has been compiled both for the year but also for the period from 2009, when FFI started.
