Important results from the project
The project aims to remove vibration injury to people by developing low-vibrating machines that at the same time will strengthen the competitiveness of machine manufacturers and machine user companies and reduce society´s and companies´ costs for injured people. The project was carried out in industrial demonstration environments where the newly developed low-vibration machines were tested in production. The consistent motto of the project has been to show that "Machines do not have to vibrate and injure people!".
Expected long term effects
Low-vibration machines have been implemented in the majority of the demonstration environments and have been very well received by users. There is a strong desire to scale up the solutions in the companies and to get machine manufacturers to offer these on the market. As part of this, two companies in the project have started ATVA Licens Group with the aim of commercializing the technology. The developed measurement system for ultravibrations has come a long way in the development towards a commercial product that is the first of its kind to be able to measure and quantify these vibrations.
Approach and implementation
The project´s approach with a focus on lifting the machines developed in step 2 for the lab environment to be implemented in industrial demonstration environments has been very successful. Both technically but also through the extensive dissemination the project has received by involving a large number of people in different areas. The project´s broad reference group has greatly contributed to giving the project its impact. NollVibCentrum has been formed and will continue to run the activities that has built up the project.
