Important results from the project
Unfortunately, the project has not succeeded in resulting in a EUREKA proposal together with Canadian parties, which was the project´s main objective. On the other hand, the project has succeeded in disseminating information about the solutions developed in previous project regarding the reduction of vibration and dust exposure during rock drilling, and there is now a great deal of interest around this, which we are following up on. The work with the solutions for rock face stabilisation is progressing well and maturing more and more and which we are spreading further to our partners.
Expected long term effects
** Denna text är maskinöversatt ** The project has resulted in our Canadian partners now having good information about our ongoing work together with Norwegian and Swedish rock protection operations and its solutions to reduce vibration and dust exposure during rock drilling and where we continuously share information about how it is progressing. In the long term, there are good conditions for exporting these solutions also to the Canadian mining industry and rock face stabilisation.
Approach and implementation
** Denna text är maskinöversatt ** The problem with getting a EUREKA proposal has been that RISE assessed the probability of a granted project as low together with poor financing conditions. This together with the difficulty of getting our Canadian partners to push a proposal against the Canadian funders resulted in the project failing to get a proposal.
