Important results from the project

With yayloh, returns becomes digital, for both consumers and e-retailers. This results in optimized management, better insight for customer support, opportunities to exceed customer expectations and reduced number of returns. E merchants can measure the impact of our product on both customer satisfaction (customer satisfaction / customer satisfaction), customer support performance and also the number of returns in relation to total sales. Depending on the e-merchant´s focus, our product can meet their eligibility requirements and help them with their area of improvement.

Expected long term effects

Our smart return management helps customer service to improve their processes. We give them access to all relevant information that can help them respond more efficiently to customer inquiries and thereby increase their customers´ satisfaction with the entire shopping experience. We will further develop an advanced data analysis platform, so that e-merchants can act to reduce the number of returns. e-retailers can then, based on known data, improve their range or product descriptions, identify problems with incorrect size.

Approach and implementation

With Vinnova´s support, we have been able to complete the following tasks in our project: 1. Define data schema to be used to save data 2. Select technology stack and configure to handle big data 3. Change the application flow to save data to AWS S3 4. Develop and integrate trend results with the current application flow. 5. We created product level analysis which is part of our data analysis view and is actively used by our customers.
