Purpose and goal
The goal is to get more public open data in Sweden. We will achieve this by establishing national structures (organization, resources, competence and technical conditions) for a data workshop, which means that regional and municipal activities will be able to receive guidance and support to share data in a structured and controlled manner. The workshop will actively guide and drive the work of making available and using and start project for new open and shared datasets and ensure that these are published and available to data consumers.
Expected effects and result
Expected effects; At least booklets of Sweden´s regions and municipalities must have established structures and basic conditions for working efficiently and qualitatively to make open data available At least 20 national standardized open datasets must be established and widely applied by Sweden´s regions and municipalities Well-functioning collaboration forums must be established with business, research and academia as well as the press and media Carry out the investigation Particularly important data sets for regions and municipalities.
Planned approach and implementation
The data workshop will be coordinated through the network of national regional digitization coordinators who have a national office at the Swedish Agency for Economic and Regional Growth. Coordination of each county´s municipalities will take place primarily via the regional digitization coordinators. The steering group is the project partners in the project and the authority DIGG. The workshop has a project manager in this proposal, and various forms of competence groups.In addition, there are from the start capabilities in open data, informatics, architecture and law.
