Important results from the project
Ten podcast episodes were planned, recorded, edited and scheduled for publishing online. All episodes are touching the subject of Open Data Sources in some way. Most of the episodes are interview style podcasting episodes for consumption in a regular podcast reader, such as iTunes.
Expected long term effects
Positive feedback has been received from multiple developers who find open data sources interesting. An unexpected side effect is that multiple API providers reached out wanting to know more about open data sources, which in turn lead to more interviews outside the scope of this project.
Approach and implementation
The podcast episodes consist of interviews where one of our co-workers called the interviewee on Skype or on a regular phone asking questions about the service(s) that they provided/created. The episodes were then edited to fit the podcasting format.
