Important results from the project
The purpose of the project was to verify our idea of being able to identify an object´s position at an accuracy level at millilimeter level and to prove that we can identify specific materials and shapes of an object.
Expected long term effects
Our tests confirm that our idea of being able to position an object in an indoor environment at an accuracy level of millimeter accuracy works and that we can identify an object´s specific characteristics based on material and shape.
Approach and implementation
We have carried out tests on wood, plastic, glass, water, paper, organic and aluminum materials and in various forms (cylinder, flat, hyperbolic surfaces (curved plates), cubes, symmetrical shapes eg bottles, uneven spherical, pyramid ) and in combination with 3 different methods. We have completed all the steps that are defined for the project and the results are documented.
