Agenda is completed in cooperation and agreement between academia, institutes, healthcare sector, large and small businesses. The common denominator of stakeholders is Information, Communication & Technology in healthcare applications.
Expected long term effects
A national investment in eHealth will provide a significant evolution in terms of quality and efficiency in health care. It will also take advantage of the ingenuity that exists within Swedish companies, institutes and academic institutions, leading to new businesses and new strategic partnerships. A basis for these collaborations are within VOIS designing an agenda, with the aim to have participants from all parts of the innovation landscape of eHealth. The agenda is a common view and understanding of the major obstacles to the successful development of the area.
Approach and implementation
The project was performed with work meetings in the Stockholm area, and work in between mainly for the project leader. All records were collected on an online forum, to easily update new members and share supporting documentation. Used correctly, it was a great asset. The members of the consortium has changed / grown during the project period. Intensive work in meetings and teleconferences last two months, during which even the project manager delegated the writing.
