Important results from the project
We are satisfied with how the project progressed and that Antiloop as a service that actually seems to create the value that was in the hypothesis early on. Abstract conditions about the climate can be understood and studied, with a service that describes the data in an understandable way. Relating to indoor air quality and being able to compare that data with data on food waste, electricity consumption or air particles creates benefit in subjects such as mathematics and technology. This also leads to increased awareness, dialogue about climate change and concrete actions in school homes.
Expected long term effects
The work has received a greater spread than we could have expected with interest from actors in different municipalities. The entry of IoT in our schools in Helsingborg brings new ideas about applications and value as well as fulfillment of the school´s mission to use the possibilities of digitalisation. The expected effects on value in teaching and an increased number of dialogues about climate change based on understanding about local and global climate conditions, we see a strong and good start to when we now finish the part of the work that the project within IoT Sverige constitutes.
Approach and implementation
The Vinnova project ends, but we continue the work in the city´s schools, as the introduction was not really accommodated within the project´s time. If there is one thing that the teachers of the schools do not have an excess of, it is extra time to do new things. We are therefore happy about the positive reception of the service and the concept, as well as the schools´ willingness to continue co-creating teaching materials in the future. Something that we are also very happy about is the design process together with the students. Antiloop is for students and teachers, by students and teachers.
