Important results from the project

The project aims to reduce the incidence of pathogens and HCAIs in healthcare through technology, development of methods and the organization of environmental cleaning The long-term goal is Vision Zero - avoidable HCAIs should not occur. A Zero Vision shifts the perspective and promotes a radically new way of thinking and collaborating between professional groups and across organizational boundaries. In Phase 1 the foundation for increased collaboration has been laid, a pilot study and market analysis have been conducted, and potential solutions have been identified.

Expected long term effects

The following results have been achieved in Phase 1: 1. Need assessment 2. Pilot study conducted, establishing baseline and standardized method for goal-setting and evaluation of interventions. 3. Identified methods, technologies and processes with potential through state-of-the-art analysis and market research, as well as collaboration with external actors. 4. Additional actors have been linked to the project for future participation 5. Draft project plan established

Approach and implementation
