Important results from the project
DRIZZLE´s objective is to develop pioneering, research-based goods and services which contribute to a more sustainable stormwater management. The parties within DRIZZLE have actively collaborated within various sub-projects. The results have been presented in a large number of world-class publications - the research group is ranked highest in Europe for scientific publications in the stormwater area. The results are also being put to practical use for companies and municipalities, as well as in university teaching. DRIZZLE thus contributes to a reduced burden on the environment
Expected long term effects
Results from DRIZZLE´s sub-project have, among other things, been presented in a large number of world-class publications the research group is ranked highest in Europe for scientific publications in the area of stormwater. Some of these publications have been authored in collaboration between partners. The results are also being put to practical use, both for companies and municipalities, as well as in university teaching. DRIZZLE´s results contribute to a more sustainable stormwater management, and thus a reduced burden on the environment.
Approach and implementation
A steering group, consisting of DRIZZLE parties, has met several times a year. The work within DRIZZLE has been conducted within 3 themes: stormwater quality, stormwater volume and integrated stormwater solutions. Workshops with the parties have been carried out several times during the project period. Project results have been presented and discussed by and with parties, both during the annual meetings (Partsstämma), as well as during the lunch seminars arranged during the project period.
