Important results from the project

A plan and methodology has been developed and forms the basis for the application Gävle University sent in stage two of Vinnova call for universities´ strategic development of collaboration. The working model describes a market-oriented development process that includes review and development of both internal and external collaboration practices and processes based on the triangle of knowledge and research in innovation. The model will be used in future work to develop the University of Gävle´s new collaboration feature.

Expected long term effects

Gävle University now has an action plan to use in the future work on developing its collaboration function. This was an expected result of the project.

Approach and implementation

Given the short period of implementation of this phase the project group focused to take in the views and suggestions of the action plan from the management staff. Weekly meetings of the project team were interspersed with meetings with the university´s management team and administrative manager. Meetings with external stakeholders have been conducted (including with foreign partners), but more are scheduled (including meetings with Swedish universities). Additionally, other staff and students will be integrated into the future work.
