Important results from the project
The purpose and goal of applying for funding in the step 1 project was to further develop ViewPoint into a concept that better corresponds to our goal of ViewPoint being a light, mobile and more usable product. During the project, we have with Zenit Designs help further developed our mobile tree platform concept into a new prototype which more corresponds to our goal to develop Viewpoint into a lighter, more mobile and useful product. The development of ViewPoint will require several more development iterations, but we are satisfied with what we have obtained from the project.
Expected long term effects
The outcome of the step 1 project is a: - 3d model of the new concept - graphic presentation of the new concept - physical prototype for evaluation and marketing. See also the appendices to this proposal. We will evaluate the prototype further and with the new concept, we hope to be able to demonstrate the potential of ViewPoint to potential investors.
Approach and implementation
After developing ViewPoint as far as we could ourselves, we asked Zenit Design to help us find an improved concept for ViewPoint. This led to different concepts and prototypes which resulted in a physical prototype that we believe has the opportunity to better meet our customer’s needs. Developing a new concept has proven to be very time-consuming and does not always result in a finished concept after the first attempt. We think that the process we have gone through with Zenit Design has given us, in addition to a new concept, improved insights into the potential which ViewPoint has to offer.
