Important results from the project

Purpose Structural change in the industry and new societal demands on the vehicle is the purpose why VICTA started. The international pressure increased sharply during the 3 years project. Electrification, automation and connectivity has become even more important. During the project, the number of Partners and their level of activity has increased. Vision. To ensure the leading position in the safe and sustainable transport system with vehicle-ICT. Sweden has high ambitions for automated driving, and VICTA have contributed to several new collaborations and projects.

Expected long term effects

The local innovation system is mainly adapted to: - Stimulate rapid development of services and products through software with reference architecture and harmonized process for model based development. The work has started. ´AGA´ is an example. - Allow early technical verification and demonstration. Open test environment established. - Attracting new entrants to the field through new venues, challenging competitions and project brokerage service. There are good examples. - Attracting SME to the area through access to testing and demo environments. The work has started.

Approach and implementation

Process management The Board decides on strategy, objectives, budget and fees. LSP is responsible for the office. During the project became Viktoria Swedish ICT partner with the resources for process management. Works well. Open Innovation Contests The competitions are organized within predetermined frames.
