Important results from the project
The project has demonstrated good goal achievement. Through in-depth interviews and a survey of the target audience, Ordningsstudion has identified a need, demand, and willingness to pay for a digital solution to organize the home. Based on these results, we have created a structure and concept for our solution. We have identified significant deficiencies in knowledge and tools for creating and maintaining order at home. With a deeper understanding of the market, Ordningsstudion has developed a Proof of Concept (PoC) that will be further developed to address the market´s needs.
Expected long term effects
Everything indicates that a digital solution for home organization would increase knowledge about organizing and provide tools to create and maintain order over time, which is value-adding for the customer - it leads to increased personal well-being and, ultimately, reduced consumption. The project aims to result in a later finalized digital solution that reduces individuals consumption and waste thanks to new habits that will span generations. The project has resulted in a PoC that will be further developed, increased market awareness, and new business relationships.
Approach and implementation
The project´s three work packages have been executed as planned: 1) Verification of the need, demand, and willingness to pay for a digital solution for home organization. 2) Development of structure and concept. 3) Collaborating with researchers to formulate research questions. A qualitative study consisting of in-depth interviews with 9 individuals was conducted to gather data for a subsequent quantitative survey. A PoC has been created based on our combined experience as professional organizers in the market, both in our own businesses and the findings of the surveys.
