Important results from the project
The long term goal for Urban Magma is to build an internationally competitive environment for innovation, research and growth linked to urban sustainable utility supply systems . The vision is long term and are not reached. However, our development and mobilization project has demonstrated that the focus groups based on the needs of the city serves as innovation environments , and by the Conference Meeting Point Urban Magma that has developed as perennial during the project.
Expected long term effects
The project has resulted in the control and organization to implement the strategic concept has been established and gained support from the parties behind the initiative . The results are that Urban Magma board , process management and methodology to enhance innovation and growth with focus groups to meet the city´s demand is well known in the region Furthermore Urban Magma resulted in funding for R & D projects and system sales have increased. Funding from the EU and national programs ( most Vinnova ) matched with both local and regional public funding and private funding from companies .
Approach and implementation
Governance , organization and venues / processes for the strategic idea. We have implemented strategies for business intelligence , internationalization / export , procurement of innovation , innovation support system , gender perspectives , communication, and increased funding. 2 .The project has developed and tested four focus groups. 3.Metod and process innovation and business accelerator has been tested in two cases . 4.Identify existing and/or the development of new test beds have been implemented 5. Evaluation of Urban Magma results and impact in the region has been done..
