Call Impact Innovation: Collaboration for Sustainable water for all - a Water Wise Societies programme intervention 2024

Purpose and goal

The aim of the project is to analyse and develop suggestions on how to use urban storm water as a resource. This includes the storm water itself, the energy potential, but also the sediment that accumulates in the urban drainage network and how it can be managed and used as a resource in a safe way. Goals: - To make a system analysis of storm water as a resource in broad collaboration - Graphically illustrate the desired future situation - Suggestions for next steps

Expected effects and result

This includes the storm water itself, energy potential, but also the sediment that accumulates in the urban drainage network and how it can be managed and used as a resource in a safe way. The effect is that storm water can contribute to both sustainable innovative solutions that strengthen society´s resilience and more to sustainable urban environments.
