Important results from the project
Sustainable urban development requires new thinking and innovation. This does not by definition mean that we should throw out legislation and regulations in order to succeed in our ambitions. It is rarely legislation and regulations per se that make it difficult. On the other hand, interpretation and practice look partly different depending on different assignments and legal logics within the city´s various administrations and companies, and the state authorities. It can create conflict between the parties and between the people who represent different perspectives and missions.
Expected long term effects

The dialogue between the employees involved and partners has been the great positive effect. This is collected, among other things, through thematic reports.
Approach and implementation
** Denna text är maskinöversatt ** The method was simple and efficient by gathering relevant employees across administrations and organizations with a number of meetings around each case. Issues were dissected here and prevailing notions were challenged. Together, the project met in a joint learning seminar for exchange and deeper dialogues on specific issues.
