Upstream pilot

Purpose and goal

The project aims to bring together regional and national actors in a coherent support system for promotion and prevention efforts based on local needs. The goal is to develop a description or prototype for how such a support system can be designed and tested. The Stockholm region would be a pilot in the preliminary study, but the support system should be able to be scaled up and become national.

Expected effects and result

A concretization of what a support structure could look like based on identified needs and the project partners´ competencies. During the project period, local needs for support and collaboration will be explored and compiled, and proposals for a system to meet these will be developed in dialogue with actors at local, regional and national levels.

Planned approach and implementation

The project consists of four work packages focusing on compiling needs and knowledge, defining data-driven support and providing proposals for a coherent support structure to meet identified needs. The needs mapping consists of workshops that will include public actors, civil society and different target groups to ensure that a breadth of perspectives is captured. A general review of the literature in the field complements the workshops.
