Important results from the project
The project aims to facilitate the transfer of the Imsys processor to IC technology that is sufficiently advanced to show its architectural advantages for efficiency, as well as to get closer to applications in an interesting IoT area, e.g. health care. This is done by making it easier to develop software and by offering relevant reference systems. The objectives have been reached, except for about three weeks of routine work that was postponed in order to do more important work that should belong to the project but had not been anticipated.
Expected long term effects
Project results have increased the interest in the company from knowledgeable people in the industry, and facilitated the much-needed strengthening of management and Board of Directors. CEO with extensive experience from leading positions in the IC industry has been recruited, as well as an experienced CFO, and the Board will be strengthened from beginning of May. Business plan for fundraising is being developed, and we expect to raise capital for the development of the company´s business during the year.
Approach and implementation
Consultants have been engaged for a larger share of the workload than was planned. The sum of personnel costs, indirect costs and consulting costs match almost exactly with the budget. Hardware costs were higher than budget but represent only 6% of the reported combined ratio.
