Important results from the project

Today´s system for God Man and the Trustee is outdated and poses great difficulties and also risks for those who cannot manage their own finances. It makes it difficult for the individual to be involved in School, Work, Leisure and to handle all the everyday decisions needed to be involved in society. This project aims to demonstrate the possibilities of combining human and digital support to help people who have God Man and the Trustee by develop a high-functioning interactive prototype that shows the feasibility of the tool "God Man in the pocket".

Expected long term effects

People with disabilities can have challenges related to financial understanding and access to their money. Efficient and accessible technical solutions can improve the management of the private economy by developing a digital tool based on the user´s needs and experience. Through God man in Fickan, we have explored basic functionality and interaction for people who cannot manage their finances without assistance. We have distinguished user values that reflect user needs and key features that should be included in the application.

Approach and implementation

Participatory design activities with people with cognitive disabilities had an influence on design and functionality. Qualitative data was collected through discussions, storyboarding and a design session. COVID-19 forced online customized workshops. The collected data were analyzed thematically, visualized and gradually refined through wireframes and a lo-fi prototype. The prototype underwent heuristic evaluation to show the use of provocative objects. The users were engaged in critical reflections and discussions.
