** Denna text är maskinöversatt ** The goal of the project is to develop simple and robust AI analyzes to be able to measure tree trunk profiles with great accuracy with a video camera and then calculate the total tree volume.

** Denna text är maskinöversatt ** The world´s forests have enormous potential to contribute to a solution to the climate problems, but forests can only be a source of renewable energy and materials if the growth of the biomass can be maintained long-term over time. For this, forest management needs to be sustainable, which in turn requires inventories that can provide high-quality data. One of the most important parameters from forest inventory is the total volume of trees.
