Important results from the project
New Brazilian Contacts were established in conjunction with the match-making event. The specific target of establishing at least 4 new contacts was fulfilled. The task of fulfilling the second goal, to submit at least 2 joint Swedish-Brazilian proposals within a year, have been initiated but is not fulfilled yet.
Expected long term effects
New contacts were established via the participation in the Brazilian innovation weeks. Furthermore, common innovation interests were identified. This is in line with our expectations prior to the event. It is currently too early to evaluate any long-term effects from the participation in the event, but we hope to be able to submit at least two proposals concerning joint Swedish-Brazilian projects.
Approach and implementation
Prior to the event, project suggestions were developed at RISE Processum. These were distributed via different channels: via mail and published online. Initial discussions were initiated during the fall and several meetings were booked for the matchmaking. The results of these were followed up during September and October.
