Important results from the project

Purpose and objective of the project was to assess whether a collaboration with EMPA is possible in order to commercialize NetBolt. A meeting at the EMPA in Switzerland verified that all conditions exist for a successful partnership and a project plan was created containing the activities, timetable, milestones, and estimated share and total cost.

Expected long term effects

The result of the project is that a cooperation can be initiated and that a Eurostar application can be made. The expected outcome is to get StrainLabs AB´s Eurostar application approved and to initiate collaboration with EMPA and thus begin to commercialize NetBolt and be able to make a product introduction on the market during in 2016.

Approach and implementation

The set up of the project was to study Empas structure and have an introductory teleconferences to make an initial assessment if the cooperation would be conceivable. The next step was to hold a meeting and see EMPA´s facility in Switzerland. The meeting discussed the project´s content, execution, Eurostar and the conditions for cooperation. The meeting showed that both the EMPA and StrainLabs AB sees the project as interesting and have an interest in cooperation and want to start a Eurostar project.
