Important results from the project
Establish contacts- the travel to Helsinki was successful- contacts with possible internatinional and swedish partners for possible Eureka/Euripides projekt Participated in a Euripides meeting where the future of Euripides was discussed. An international panel discussion took place that presented the harmonization of the Penta and Euripides platforms/calls to open up for the possibility of the co-labeling of Eureka projects. In addtion, represented RISE as a research partner for possible Eureka projects.
Expected long term effects
Hopefully the travel can lead to new Eureka/Euripides project and increased participation by Sweden within the Euripides program. Discusions were initiated with 2 swedish companies were RISE could support them in an application to these programs. Invited representatives from Eureka and Euripides to participate in the SIP SES Summit in September to present to swedish industry the possbilities to connect swedish consortium with international partners within the frames of Euripides/Penta.
Approach and implementation
Eureka Innovation Week is a great way to fullfill the goals for the project- most importantly to create contacts and build a network in Europe for possible new projects. The possibility to travel and participate led directly to new project discussions as well.
