Important results from the project

Through a large number of visits to companies and organizations, our way of working can be improved based on discussions with India´s dynamic ecosystem. The Sweden India Innovation Bridge program organized by the Sweden India Business Council provided a very broad and valuable insight into the Indian market and the way in which incubator support and investments are offered and how some prominent companies have developed. This may affect the way we handle innovation, business and investments.

Expected long term effects

Knowledge and experience of the Indian market can partly lead to methods and approaches being applied in how the Swedish ecosystem develops in the future, partly that the insight into the development of the Indian market constitutes a very large business opportunity for Swedish companies and that an evaluation of this market should be included at an early stage and finally that business opportunities already identified may lead some companies to initiate business relations in the coming year.

Approach and implementation

• Review case studies to gain an on-the-ground understanding of success in practice • Visit corporate innovation hubs and meet and connect with startups barrier-breaking entrepreneurs in a disruptive and dynamic Indian ecosystem • Have intensive networking sessions with a variety of successful people from different industries • Get a red carpet introduction to India with Sweden-India Business Councils team Experience, knowledge and network • Summarize each day´s impressions in the same evening
