Important results from the project

Smaka Good Food Festival is a very popular festival among visitors and participating actors. In the future, the festival will take a direction more towards a more sustainable food system and represent a view of food experiences, which includes a large part of food tech. The purpose of this trip was to be inspired by Israel and Israeli food tech companies and how they market and attract key players through Foodtech IL. We also wish to meet potential partners and actors who can contribute to Smaka, as well as expand our network and inspiration in general within food tech and the food of the future.

Expected long term effects

Expand our network of international future food experiences that are connected to our vision of representing the food of the future and more sustainable gastronomic experiences. Meetings with like-minded visionaries who stand for sustainable experiences and strengthened international cooperation. We also had the opportunity to market our festival and Sweden as a good platform for innovation and future, sustainable food experiences.

Approach and implementation

We visited the Foodtech IL conference in Tel Aviv, where we had many inspiring meetings that led to initiatives to receive more international delegations to our festival and conference as well as other collaboration opportunities. We followed this up with several meetings with interesting key players in the Israeli food sector.
