Important results from the project
The aim of this project was to enable a sabbatical-type stay for Dr. Ezcurra´s in two excellent national research centers, UPSC in Umeå and Uppsala BioCenter, in order to make it possible for her to establish a new research line in her home institution, KTH Biotechnology.
Expected long term effects
The main goals of this project were largely met. Dr. Ezcurra expanded her research network, received financial support and started new research projects.
Approach and implementation
Dr Ezcurra stayed at UPSC and in Uppsala BioCenter, which allowed her to establish and manage new research projects and collaborations. The stays also allowed her to participate in the daily activities at the research institutes in the form of group meetings and seminars, and also spontaneous meetings and discussions.
