Important results from the project

The aim has been to make expertise available in hybrid technology as well as resources within ´Test bed for battery and hybrid systems, fuel cells and hydrogen applications in vehicles´ for Swedish industry who lack access to knowledge and / or own resources to run the entire development chain themselves. Particular focus has been on reaching manufacturers and users of heavy off road vehicles.

Expected long term effects

By combining the existing `Test bed for battery and hybrid systems, fuel cells and hydrogen applications in vehicles´ with new knowledge and experience within the field, we have effectively met new industrial partners with new needs in the field of hybrid system and especially made the facility available to new customers - especially within the field of heavy off road vehicles. Cooperation with stakeholders is continuing through five new smaller Projects.

Approach and implementation

Thanks to a wide network through the industry association Heavy Vehicles, many small and medium enterprises has been reached by the initiative. The majority of the activities took place in the second half of the project, which is natural since it takes some time to set the ball rolling.
