Important results from the project
The project´s aim was to quickly and effectively make the new process line for hybrid electronics at the Test and Demo facility Printed Electronics Arena Manufacturing available for new users from national and international industry and academia. The project has established manufacturing processes for hybrid circuits that combine printed electronics and silicon components. The facility´s staff has been trained to be able to better meet customers´ needs and requirements.
Expected long term effects
Both new and existing customers have already begun to use the upgraded ToD facility that has been adapted to provide hybrid technology to existing and expected customers. Partners are both national and international. Implementation of the RISE ToD training has contributed to the process of internationalization, as well as an improved sales process. PEA-M is attractive both for industrial customers and research partners.
Approach and implementation
The project has been carried out with participants in several different positions at PEA-M: from the management and sales organization to development engineers and operators. The project has created an awareness of the importance of a ToD-plant and generated questions about how we operate and attract customers.
