The project objective is to integrate tools from previous project into a resource management solution for relevant ICT industry systems, to develop methods for validating the resource management solution for usability and reliability, and to test and validate the solution for industrial application with a 5G network.

Expected effects and result

The expected effects of the project are new business opportunities and strengthened cooperation between the project parties: Tietoevry and Umeå University. In addition, data sets will be provided as a funding to WARA Ops-gemenskapen.

Planned approach and implementation

The first part of the project analyzes use cases and develops a framework for resource management based on existing prototypes. The project further develops the prototypes to meet the needs of the user cases. The second part integrates the framework with the testbeds, tests and analyzes the results. The third part refines the tools based on data analysis of the results from the previous phase. The fourth part validates the refined tools in real environment and use cases. The project uses environments provided by WARA Ops and by Tietoevry.
