Important results from the project

Organic Sweden has, together with ten other organizations active in various parts of the food system, participated in the training effort "Mobilization and learning efforts for future innovation environments". We have acquired knowledge of theories, models and working methods around mission-oriented innovation and system change. Furthermore, the training effort has strengthened the actors´ ability to, through cooperation with others, take on the challenges that the food system faces. This in turn has created opportunities for the establishment of innovation environments.

Expected long term effects

In the short term, the training effort has resulted in a large group actors within the food system gaining knowledge, motivation and tools to drive system change towards a more sustainable food system. In the long term, the effort has created conditions for the formation of innovation environments, increased collaboration between different actors and thereby growing opportunities to change the food system in a more sustainable direction.

Approach and implementation

The training effort has consisted of a number of modules with different themes that revolved around a mission-oriented way of working, innovation models and systems thinking. Everyone who participated has taken part in lectures, participated in workshops and completed tasks between the digital and physical meetings. Coordinator for the effort has been Anton Järild from Organic Sweden, who worked to promote a creative collaborative climate, as well as collected and forwarded questions and requests from the participants to Vinnova.
