Important results from the project
Tim Solutions´ business concept is to provide an intelligent work force management system for staff-intensive organisations. TIM stands for Time Intelligence Management. TIM is a cloud-based software that: - Streamlines operations and increases profitability - Reduces administration - Provides higher level of working hours and thus higher satisfaction amongst employees - Is based on the needs of the customers - Provides real-time business insights and performance (KPI) The purpose of the project was to test the developed prototype and protect the business idea.
Expected long term effects
The aim of the project was to develop a strategy to protect the business idea and to test the prototype. We have a strategy to protect the business idea and based on this there are ongoing actions. Furthermore, the prototype has been tested and we have received useful input as well as new interesting insights. Among other things, the following has emerged: - There is a problem to be addressed in the so-called solver. - The system / business concept has been received above expectation "too good to be true". - The difference between scheduling manually and using TIM is bigger than we thought.
Approach and implementation
Development of strategy for protecting business concept incl. product - Strategy has been developed together with a law firm. Time measurement scheduling - Three experienced managers and schedulers have completed the assigned tasks. Testing the prototype as well as corrections / improvements - This was more time consuming than expected and more tests and corrections were made than planned. - An error was found in the prototype to be corrected. Workshop regarding interface - No workshop was held because we chose to prioritize working with the prototype.
