Important results from the project

A central part of the development of combined mobility services is how traditional public transport can be combined in different ways with other modes of transport, actors and business models. An important prerequisite for enabling this kind of compatibility is to offer ticket products that are adapted for digitized sales and adapted for combined mobility. This project has captured needs and identified proposals for realizable ticket products that address these needs. The work is described in a final report prepared within the framework of the project.

Expected long term effects

The goal of the project has been: - to investigate the need for new types of ticket products - Identify new types of ticket products that meet these needs and are realistic to implement Both of these goals are met and the results are described in the project´s final report.

Approach and implementation

The project has been conducted through dialogues with 25 external parties interested in selling ticket products from regional public transport authorities in Sweden. The results of these dialogues have been used as input to a series of four workshops with participating regional public transport authorities. Through the work, the needs have been clustered and a number of ticket ideas have been identified as directories against these needs. Furthermore, the realization of the spread has been investigated from a number of different perspectives.
