Important results from the project

The aim of the project is to encourage students at universities and colleges to write essays on innovation and commercialization, thereby increasing the knowledge and understanding of these topics.

Expected long term effects

The project covered the academic year 2019/2020 for the essay competition "Nytt&Nyttigt" One result is that the interest in the competition has increased as the number of essays submitted has increased. For the academic year 2019/2020, 111 essays were submitted to the competition and they came from 20 higher education institutions. According to the jury, the quality of the essays assessed in the final round remains high.

Approach and implementation

The project has been to organize the essay competition "Nytt&Nyttigt". This includes marketing to higher education institutions, administering incoming submission and contacts with students, the assessment process, the jury process and jury meeting, and the award ceremony. This has been carried out in accordance with the plan for execution.
