Important results from the project
** Denna text är maskinöversatt ** The reality lab aim was to examine the challenges of care for the elderly, current and future. Part of the purpose was to investigate how a test environment can co-exist directly in a retirement home. The reality lab has faced challenges at the individual and system level, the approach has been to investigate what possible solutions can be found and where to find the answers somewhere in a complex organization. Today, the test bed is implemented in a retirement home and creates interest internally and externally.
Expected long term effects
** Denna text är maskinöversatt ** The reality lab test bed business is a permanent part of Stureby Vård and care homes and continues to attract stakeholders internally and externally. The reality lab has been shown to be a need by several actors, to help others open up their own businesses for trial and innovation. Several districts within Stockholm city have been inspired and dialogue is being held on possible collaboration to innovate the elderly care with the Reality Lab.
Approach and implementation
** Denna text är maskinöversatt ** Logistically, the reality lab´s form has been a major challenge. To ensure that all projects are supported by staff at Stureby care and residential care, but without reducing the quality of the users. Safety and security based on the core values of the elderly care has been the starting point for everything and remains so. In dialogue with external actors this is not always understandable, but a good dialogue usually creates increased understanding.
