Important results from the project

The purpose of the project was to develop a prototype of our data analysis platform GEODE (the (GEOmetric Data Explorer). An additional aim was to validate our methods and prioritise further development needs through discussions with potential customers. This has primarily included customers from the life science field. We have reached the goals set from the start of the project and are now in a good positions for further activities needed in order to bring GEODE to the market.

Expected long term effects

The results from this project form the base for further activities in bringing GEODE to the market. The input collected from potential customers verifies a great need and will form the based for further development activities. The effect will hopefully be a product that will meet the customer needs. We have also defined different modules in GEODE that can be combined to quickly solve different customer questions.

Approach and implementation

The project was performed in two work packages (WPs): (i) development of a functional beta version of our analysis platform GEODE and (ii) customer contacts and market analysis. We have succeeded in connecting customer needs with the development of GEODE, a crucial part in order to reach a fully functional version of GEODE. In summary the results from the two WPs show that there are great opportunities to reach the market within 1-2 years and before that to run a number of customer pilot projects.
