Important results from the project
** Denna text är maskinöversatt ** The project aims to enable simpler and healthier everyday life for commuters through local work hubs in rural areas. By moving the workplace closer to home, we want to reduce the number of car journeys into the city. Our project also aims to inspire more social, healthy and sustainable teleworking in Swedish urban areas
Expected long term effects
** Denna text är maskinöversatt ** The study clearly showed that the need for a work hub in Björklinge exists. A survey showed, among other things, that 88% of respondents would like to work closer to their home and that 90% might consider using a work hub. Step 1, a proposal was sent in to implement Step 2, which is to design, implement and test the concept of a pop-up work hub in a Room in Björklinge. Step 2 has been granted. The feasibility study was summarized in a film attached.
Approach and implementation
** Denna text är maskinöversatt ** The project followed its project plan and together with Uppsala Kommun and STUNS we conducted a digital survey, field visits to potential sites for a future hub, recruited landowners, built local relationships and held interviews with relevant people and compiled Step 1 in an animated short film.
