Important results from the project
The purpose of this project has been to perform tests of WILDA’s innovative positioning system. The goal has been to achieve at least three new test installations of the system as well as performing a market- and technical analysis of adapting WILDA’s system to indoor positioning. These goals have been successfully accomplished and provided positive indicators of WILDA’s future work the the Fire and Rescue Service.
Expected long term effects
The project has enabled test installations at sites spread across Sweden and ensured that weaknesses of the system could be identified and fixed. Future adaptation of the system could also be examined. WILDA’s system for reliable positioning for the Fire and Rescue Service has been proven during the testing to fulfill the need for efficient and reliable communication.
Approach and implementation
During the project, test material has been produced and contact with need customers established. This has involved phone conferences and visits at the fire station. Finally, cooperation agreements could be signed and test installations performed. Since then, the usage of the system has been evaluated and important information collected. Everything for a more secure and efficient Fire and Rescue Service.
