Purpose and goal
That more young girls become interested in: a) technology and / or science education b) increase their use of the opportunities that technology and science gives
Expected effects and result
During the process, when the girls create their show, they will also create their own challenges and find solutions to them. We expect that some of the solutions they will create involves the innovative use of scientific knowledge and technology. Furthermore, new occupations / roles are created, not least in light of their view of the future. Finally, the very form that they choose to present their idea will be innovative in itself. In addition, the researchers, teachers and university students will see new opportunities in science and technology.
Planned approach and implementation
The Dream Performance brings together girls who are interested in the performing arts, theater and performances to create their ´Dream Perception of the Future´. It is the girls who create and determine what kind of performance it should be and what it should be about. Shows today contains many roles, materials and technology. The girls have access to other women who are researchers, teachers and university students in engineering and science, and women who are experienced in theater and drama.
