Important results from the project
The collaboration project Treesearch aims to develop and establish a world-leading collaborative research environment in the form of a national platform facilitating governmental, academic and industrial collaboration. The collaboration project Etapp 1 was aimed at initiating and establishing Treesearch, developing a concept for Stage 2 (including the proposal) and preparing a call for doctoral and post-doctoral research through BioInnovation / Vinnova. All objectives have been met.
Expected long term effects
Stage 1 of Treesearch was planned to result in increasing the number of stakeholders to create a broader national support and increased participation by industry, to develop forms and processes within the platform to deliver training, meeting points and knowledge dissemination as well as to provide access to advanced research infrastructures. All expected results and effects have been achieved.
Approach and implementation
The collaborative project has been carried out by the universities KTH, Chalmers and Linköping University, together with the companies involved in starting Treesearch. The work has been distributed to the different university nodes and significant efforts have been done through work-meetings targeting to develop specific parts of the platform.
